Finance Internship Role
We are seeking for a highly motivated Finance Intern to join our dynamic and fast growing Audit and Accounting firm. The position is based in our Polokwane office, please direct applications to accountant@motlanalo.co.za and Finance@motlanalo.co.za, closing date 23 May 2021.
Minimum Requirements
- B. Com graduate or related accounting/finance qualification
- Minimum of 1-2 year experience in Finance and Accounting
- Computer literate. Knowledge of Sage Accounting, MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to compile reports
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
- Must be able to work under pressure and overtime where necessary
- Duration: 12 months
Duties and responsibilities.
- Process and reconcile all supplier payments
- Process weekly bank feeds
- Processing of monthly journal entries
- Perform monthly reconciliation of bank statements, debit orders, VAT, EMP201, provident fund
and medical aids - Collect information relating to invoicing and issue customer invoicing
- Reconciliation of AG(SA) project budgets vs spending
- Maintain Asset registers
- Prepare monthly reports on inventory, pool cars and credit cards
